Llachón

Located 74 kilometers northeast of Puno on Lake Titicaca (two hours by car), this community of about 1,300 inhabitants retains its native customs and cultural events. Their main activities are agriculture, livestock, fisheries and handicrafts. Llachón can be reached by lake in motorboats from the port of Puno and from the islands of Taquile or Amantani, or overland from Puno and Juliaca. The site offers experiential tourism, because you stay with the families that live there.
